Qualifications:
Johnnie M. Glass is the Center's mediator. She has resided in Otero
County since 1978 with her husband, Joe. She is the mother of two
adult children and has two granddaughters.
In addition to her law office and mediation experience, Johnnie has been
the owner and manager of a number of private businesses and has been a
licensed Real Estate Broker since 1984.
Johnnie brings unique practical experience to the process. This practical
experience can make the process more efficient and productive. She
is well qualified to aid the parties in developing a full range of settlement
options and moderating unrealistic expectations that may hinder the progress
in settlement.

Training and consultation with psychologists and psychiatrist to assure
that the “power balance” between the parties is maintained;
Child development training and experience allowing parties to approach
disputed custody cases by addressing the developmental needs of their child
at the time of the agreement.
